About the Food Services Worker Program
Medix College’s Food Service Worker (FSW) equips students with the skills and knowledge to work in the Food Services industry. The program covers topics such as food preparation, safe food handling, nutritional requirements, and so much more.


Learn the role and responsibilities of Food Service workers within healthcare settings. Students will cover topics such as the components of food service systems, including food production and delivery, purchasing, receiving, inventory control and menu planning. The program also includes placement opportunities where you can gain realworld experience, network, and practice what you’ve learned.
