About the Dental Assisting Program
Medix College’s Dental Assisting (DA) Level I & II program equips you with the technical knowledge and clinical skills to start your career as a Dental Assistant. You’ll learn how to prepare students for dental exams, sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment, take and develop Xrays, and so much more.

After graduating, you will be qualified to take and expose radiographs. Graduates are also eligible to sit for the examination given by the National Dental Assistants Examining Board (NDAEB). Please note, that the exam is at the option and expense of the student, Medix encourages graduates to become certified. To utilize your Level II learning to its full capacity, graduates will be required to write the NDAEB exam.

All graduating students will receive a complimentary one year membership to the Ontario Dental Assistant Association.
