About the Early Childhood Assistant Program
Medix College’s Early Childhood Assistant Program (ECA) provides students with valuable knowledge and skills needed to become proficient in this field. You’ll learn how to collaboratively plan and develop daily activities with teachers, complete anecdotal reports, as well as observation and developmental checklists.

The program also covers topics such as curriculum planning, nutrition and CPR. Here at Medix, we prioritize hands on learning and training. Through case studies, simulated daycare environments, roleplay and in class discussions, you will get an in depth understanding of the role and responsibilities of an early childhood assistant.

The program also includes placement opportunities where you can gain real world experience, network, and practice what you’ve learned. Please note that to graduate the ECA program, students must successfully pass the National Association of Career Colleges Board Exam (NACC). The examination fee is included in all tuition fees.
